PCHS PIRATE PRIDE

WHAT IS PRIDE?

Port Charlotte High School has adopted a program named Positive Behavior Support (PBS).  One of the principles of PBS is to increase positive behavior among students that will translate into life skills.  We want our students to know and practice appropriate behavior in school and in society.  As a PBS school we want to increase school and community pride through reinforcing students for engaging in positive behaviors. 

At PCHS we call this PRIDE. Pride stands for Preparation, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.  Throughout the school year we have been recognizing students who show their “PIRATE PRIDE.” You may have heard about some of the exciting happenings at Port Charlotte High sponsored by PRIDE over the past couple of years. See our calendar for some of this years exciting events.

We would like to continue to provide activities like this to our students who exceed our expectations, as well as, a culminating event at the end of school year. In order to do this we need your help!
